Yeah. I went to school today to work on a project with a fellow classmate, but he didn't show.

So...I sketched...for two hours.

It was very therapeutic.

You know what's funny? These two characters, whom I adore, could pass for Riku and Nevaeh at a glance! (In fact, I think I accidentally added a little bit of Nevaeh in Mitexi's expression. Whoops!)

Anyway, I hope you guys like how I portrayed your characters. Something different.

Also! Those of you who enjoy reading stories about Riku and Nevaeh need to give Hiro and Mitexi a try. They're just as complicated, if not more. :D

:blush: They are so adorable! This is you without schoolwork to do. O_O You have little idea of how jealous I am of you right now.

I want to know what's going on inside their thoughts, but it's a Kelley picture, so there is no one interpretation, even for the one of the character owners! Argh! I don't know how you manage to tie my interpretation abilities in knots, but it's incredible just how much this picture says and hides in the same breath.

Oh my gosh. :wow: I don't even know where to begin. When you dropped me a line I couldn't believe that you actually drew Hiro and Mitexi! This is what you did for two whole freaking hours?

This is gorgeous and beautiful! :heart: The expression upon Mitexi's face is rare, because most of the time she's distant in spite of the closeness between her and Hiro. But I love it anyway.

Oh man, thank you so much for drawing this. It means more than you could comprehend. :glomp:

Well...let me see if I can explain it.

Mitexi is sorta breaking the fourth wall. She's teasing me. Just me. Because she really knows how to tie in me all sorts of knots. Hiro, on the other hand, is completely contented holding Mitexi in his arms...since it's a rarity. And while Mitexi's focused on the viewer--me--Hiro is probably busy contemplating or brooding or watching Mitexi's back. Probably all three. ^^

Man! You make me want to do a better job! This is just a sketch... *blush*

Haha, yeah. I added too much Nevaeh into Mitexi. But like I told RoD:

:giggle: A direct attack against you, huh? :plotting: You know, that's basically Mitexi in a fanciful manner of explanation. :XD: Heh. I imagine Hiro would be quite content, regardless of which option he is currently subscribing to (or multitasking).

It is rather amusing how these two remind me of your Riku and Nevaeh. :heart:

You did a fantastic job! You always do, which is one of the many reasons I love your art so much. You put everything into your work, and it shows; you can feel it.

You have a really good point there. And the thing with these two is that even when they're looking away from each other, or seem like they aren't focused on the one they care about, it makes them have this urge to look over and see if they're looking back. Kind of a security/trust thing if you get it.

I already thought you did wonderfully on this, so I'm psyched to hear you're desire to do better. :)
