Sherlock returns. The first thing John does isn't punch him, but takes his pulse. Because a part of John thinks he's hallucinating (just another nightmare, reliving The Fall because he's CRACKED) and taking Sherlock's pulse was the Last Time and he can't NOT because Sherlock is all, "John..." and maybe this time he won't wake up and it'll be all fine.

And then John realizes Sherlock's real...he's so angry he almost breaks Sherlock's hand? I don't even know.

My God! I can't be satisfied with fluffy fanart. I have to make it unbearably sad! THIS FANDOM.
